WHAT YOUR CLOTHES SAY ABOUT YOU – CREDIBILITY
If you want people to believe in you, you have to dress believable.
It’s important to dress believable in order to convince people of your beliefs. By dressing according to your beliefs you can make others believe in them too.
Here is an example: A hairdresser with a bad haircut. Would you want her to cut your hair?
You dress believable by dressing according to the circumstances. To walk around in bare legs in the winter cold is not dressing believable. How can anyone believe in you when you don’t even know that it is winter? By dressing according to the circumstances you show that you understand them and that you are informed.
Dress simple. Too many colors and accessories send out different signals. It will be confusing and people don’t know where you stand.
Dress comfortably. When you are comfortable in your clothes you are more relaxed and more confident. If your skirt is too short and you have to pull it down because it crawls up, or your pants are too big and you have to pull them up, your clothing is taking too much of your energy. Clothing with a good fit means you can concentrate on other things than how your clothes act. Comfortability is when you feel like yourself. This means wearing clothes you can identify with and dressing in colors that affects your mood positively.
Dress confident. The clothes you wear can positively impact your state of mind. When you believe in yourself others will believe in you too. Dressing confident is about quality and good fit.
Wearing fake designer items sends out the signal that YOU are fake. You don’t look trustworthy in fake items. It is a lack of respect for the design. If you don’t respect the designer how can anyone trust that you will respect them?
